Hands off your bags. Porters swoop in without asking. They grab luggage and then demand big tips. Say 'No thank you' and keep hold of your bags. If you need help, agree on a small tip first. Then let them lift.
Skip the booths. Currency-exchange kiosks inside the terminal flash 'no commission' signs. Their rates are worse than banks or ATMs in town. Change only a small amount for immediate needs. Get the bulk of your money from official banks or ATMs later.
